AAJ greatly appreciates West’ General Information

Convention Eligibility

Attending an AAJ Convention is an exclusive benefit provided to the following AAJ member types: Regular, Sustaining, President's Club, Life, Paralegal Affiliates, Government, Military, Retired, Law Students, Law Graduates, Law Professors, and Judges only. In addition, State and Provincial Trial Lawyer Association Executive Directors and Staff are welcomed. Eligibility to Vote for Officers: To vote for officers at the 2006 Annual Convention, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• You are a member in good standing, which means that your dues are paid in full.
• Your dues must be paid in full 60 days prior to the start of the Convention, May 15, 2006.
• You are a voting member of AAJ, which is limited to these member categories: Regular, Life, Sustaining, President's Club, Honorary Life, or Retired Members who were formerly Regular, Life, Sustaining, or President's Club Members.

Education Program Information (MCLE/NCA Credit)

Earn approximately 19.75 CLE* and NCA credits (including 3 ethics credit) in 5 days. . If you have specific MCLE questions, please contact AAJ Education at 800-622-1791, 202-965-3500, ext. 612, or via e-mail at education@justice.org.

*Number of credits may vary depending on calculation method used by accreditation agency. AAJ is a state bar of California MCLE approved provider.

Registration

Advance registration is now closed. On-site registration will begin on Friday, February 9, 2007, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Americana Ballroom, Salons 1-3 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and will continue throughout the week. Special Discounts

• Lawyers attending their first convention, who were first admitted to practice with bar dates within the past 10 years, receive a 50% discount.
• Spouse or guest of all New Lawyers (first admitted to practice with bar dates within the past 10 years) receive a 50% discount.
• Paralegals attending the convention for the first time receive a 50% discount.

• Three or more members from the same firm registering together may take advantage of a 10% discount on registration fees.

Registration Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to AAJ by either fax or mail. Cancellations received by January 19, 2007, will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received between January 20, 2007, and February 2, 2007, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. After February 2, 2007, requests for refunds will not be honored.

Cancellation Policy

The Exhibit Hall is free to all members and non-members. A badge is required to visit the Exhibit Hall.
