“In a 3/10/08 CQ article, he said, ‘Maybe I'm a mouthpiece for corporate evil doers or maybe not.’ Since ATRA is a front group for tobacco, insurance, and pharmaceutical companies, that’s one thing we can both agree on.
“As expected, ATRA’s so-called white paper is a public relations stunt disguised as serious academic research.
“Mr. McKinney recently suggested that AAJ should only attack the message and not the messenger. He can be rest assured we will fervently respond to half-truths and misstatements as long as ATRA carries the water for corporations looking to undermine the civil justice system.”
