The American Association for Justice (AAJ), formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, promotes justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguards victims' rights--particularly the right to trial by jury--and strengthens the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety.
The American Association for Justice is currently seeking an Associate Director of Membership. This position is responsible for pursuing the following major job responsibilities:
Serve as the point of contact in Membership to ensure the daily functions of Membership are conducted for both acquisition and retention.
Specific tasks include ensuring that all membership recruitment and retention efforts are implemented, materials are reviewed by the appropriate parties internally, results are tracked, and projects budgets are not exceeded.
Working closely with the Director of Membership on membership analysis of recruitment and retention efforts through database tracking and statistical analysis.
Working closely with the Director of Membership on membership plans and program development to grow and retain membership.
Effectively manage a team of 4-6 employees, which include Membership Coordinators, Membership Specialists, and Administrative support staff.
Qualified candidates will have a high proficiency in association membership, communications, and research. In addition, ideal candidates would possess a minimum of 4 years management experience, extensive experience in membership customer service, volunteer management, statistical analysis, and daily communication with general membership. A high degree of accuracy in work quality and meeting goals and deadlines are essential. 4 year college degree is required.
