Carrie R. Frank, J.D., M.S.S.W., has been practicing for over 20 years, primarily in the area of products liability. She is currently a partner with Klein | Frank, P.C. in Boulder, Colorado, where her practice focuses on cases involving defective products including medical devices, drugs and toys, and other personal injury matters and bad faith cases. She was rated one of the top 3000 Plaintiff’s Lawyers by LawDragon in 2006 and was a finalist for last year. She was also recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2009. Ms. Frank is the immediate past chair of AAJ’s Products Liability Section and is an officer in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. William P. Lightfoot limits his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury claims and currently serves as cochair on the Committee to Re-Elect Mayor Adrian Fenty 2010. He is board certified in Civil Trials by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, has an AV rating by Martindale and Hubbell, and is a Diplomat of AAJ’s NCA. Phillip H. Miller has an exclusively personal injury practice. Mr. Miller has tried 46 jury trials to verdict and handled a wide range of cases including trucking litigation, nursing home claims, pharmaceutical torts, and day care center child abuse. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Miller has extensive experience working as a trial consultant on a wide variety of cases. Paul J. Scoptur is a founding partner in the plaintiff’s personal injury litigation firm of Aiken & Scoptur, S.C. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a past cochair of the NCA Board of Trustees as well as a past member of the AAJ Board of Governors. Mr. Scoptur lectures on the state and national level in the area of trial skills. He is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants, has extensive experience working as a trial consultant, and is a founding member of Miller, Scoptur, Vesper & Shar, a case consulting and litigation support firm. David A. Wenner concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and medical negligence litigation. Mr. Wenner was cochair of the AAJ’s Blue Ribbon Committee to study juror bias and continues to conduct research on tort reform rhetoric and juror attitudes. Mr. Wenner is a past member of the NCA Board of Trustees and a Diplomate of AAJ’s NCA.
