Jon Bauer received his law degree from the Yale Law School and served as a staff attorney with the Legal Action Center. He now serves as Clinical Professor of Law at the University Of Connecticut School Of Law, teaching and supervising students in the law school’s clinical programs. He serves on the Boards of Directors of Connecticut Legal Services, the state’s largest provider of civil legal assistance to low-income persons, and the Connecticut Legal Rights Project, a legal services program for persons with mental disabilities. Professor Bauer is a past president of the Connecticut Fair Housing Center. His writings include an article on clinical pedagogy (co-written with Professor James H. Stark) that has been included in the Clinical Legal Education Association’s bibliography of basic readings for new clinical teachers, and a study of discrimination against people with disabilities in the bar admissions process, published in the UCLA Law Review.
Ingrid M. Evans is an experienced litigator in state and federal courts with a special interest in elder financial abuse law and representation of public entities in complex cases, focusing on consumer protection class actions. She is very active in the legal community and is a frequent presenter on elder financial abuse issues at legal conferences. Ms. Evans serves on AAJ’s Board of Governors, a board member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and Public Justice, and is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers’ Association. Ms. Evans serves as of counsel in Waters & Kraus, LLP's San Francisco, California office.
Patrick A. Malone represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice, product liability, and other complex personal injury matters. He is a past president of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC, is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, and is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America.” Mr. Malone is a certified civil trial advocate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education courses both locally and nationally. He is the author of The Life You Save: Nine Steps to Finding the Best Medical Care-and Avoiding the Worst and coauthor of Rules of the Road: A Plaintiff Lawyer’s Guide to Proving Liability. Mr. Malone is a partner in the firm Patrick Malone & Associates, P.C. in Washington, DC.
