Patient dies after radiologist fails to properly interpret CT scan
The man’s estate alleged that the radiologist and his employer misdiagnosed him as having a hiatal hernia when he had an esophageal tear. The plaintiff also claimed that an anesthesiology group was liable for failing to properly administer anesthesia during the patient’s surgery to repair the tear. Alvarez v.
