AAJ’s Litigating Wage and Hour Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Cases Seminar is designed for trial lawyers interested in developing or strengthening their FLSA practice. The program begins with a thorough review of the basics of FLSA laws, examples of claims, how to calculate wages and recoverable damages, common defenses, and collective actions, class actions, and hybrids. The second morning session is dedicated to reviewing cases and standard fact patterns that have allowed plaintiff lawyers to successfully prosecute FLSA cases as well as the top mistakes and pitfalls to avoid.
