AAJ’s Litigating Wage and Hour Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Cases Seminar is designed for trial lawyers interested in developing or strengthening their FLSA practice.  The program begins with a thorough review of the basics of FLSA laws, examples of claims, how to calculate wages and recoverable damages, common defenses, and collective actions, class actions, and hybrids. The second morning session is dedicated to reviewing cases and standard fact patterns that have allowed plaintiff lawyers to successfully prosecute FLSA cases as well as the top mistakes and pitfalls to avoid. AAJ’s experienced faculty will provide attendees with examples of FLSA violations and examine employment situations where FLSA cases may exist.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that all cancellations for our programs must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received by October 1, 2010 will result in a refund less a 10% administrative charge. Cancellations received October 2–7, 2010 will result in a voucher for the entire registration fee which may be applied toward any AAJ Education college or seminar held within one calendar year of the date of issue.
