AAJ’s Leaders Forum, the premier class of membership for law firms, was created in 2000 to ensure that every person has access to justice—even when up against the most powerful interests. This select group helps us fight tort “reform” by increasing financial resources for public relations, legislative advocacy, state affairs, and public education efforts on Capitol Hill as well as in the court of public opinion. AAJ’s Leaders Forum members also benefit from products, services, and networking opportunities that help enhance their practice.
Because of Leaders Forum, we were able to launch the Fight for Justice Communications Campaign, a campaign that is unprecedented in our association's history. This campaign successfully makes our case to the public by telling the real story about what trial attorneys are doing to protect the civil justice system.
The other side did not get where they are overnight. They have spent billions of dollars in the last two decades. Today, they are more committed than ever to eliminating the right of every American to hold a wrongdoer accountable. We must fight back, and, because of Leaders Forum, we aren’t just fighting anymore: we’re winning.
