AAJ’s Trial Advocacy College: Damages with David Ball, Ph.D.  has been redesigned for plaintiffs attorneys who have previously attended a Damages Seminar, read David Ball on Damages, or have watched one of AAJ's Damages Seminar on DVD. This college will give you critical insight into how jurors perceive your case for damages—and how to use that knowledge to ask for and obtain a full measure of justice for your clients. Leading the program is David Ball, Ph.D., trial consultant and author of David Ball on Damages: A Plaintiff’s Attorney’s Guide for Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Cases; and David Ball on Damages: The Essential Update. He is also coauthor of Reptile: The 2009 Manual of the Plaintiff’s Revolution. You’ll work in small groups on jury selection, opening, testimony and closing. You'll also meet one-on-one with Dr. Ball.

Bring an Active Case of Your Own to Use in Workshops & Prepare for Trial

During the workshops, you will build on the knowledge of Dr. Ball's techniques you already possess using an active case of your own and receive critical feedback from trial lawyer faculty who have mastered the Damages techniques and are skilled at teaching these methods to other attorneys. The recorded workshop sessions are yours to take home for further study.

This program is exclusively for AAJ Regular, Sustaining, Life, Leaders Forum, and President’s Club Members Only.

To learn more about the Damages technique, read David Ball on Damages » or watch a past AAJ's Damage Seminar ».
