Russ M. Herman is a past president of AAJ, the Louisiana Association for Justice (formerly Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association), and the Civil Justice Institute. Mr. Herman has authored numerous articles, papers, and books, including, Courtroom Persuasion: Winning with Art, Drama & Science (AAJ Press/West) and stars in the best-selling video series Courtroom Persuasion: Art, Drama & Science. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability attorneys; a Diplomate of AAJ’s National College of Advocacy (NCA), a Fellow and Director of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and a Barrister of the American College of Barristers. Mr. Herman is a senior partner in the firm of Herman, Herman, Katz & Cotlar, L.L.P. of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Richard A. Jenson has been consulting with attorneys for over 20 years. He concentrates exclusively on trial consulting and conducting research for lawyers throughout the United States in case preparation and jury selection. He is a past chair of The Professional Visibility Committee of the American Society of Trial Consultants (ASTC) and the president of Jenson Research & Communications in Austin, Texas.
Rick Kraemer holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Business and Economics. His experience includes working for both plaintiff and defense lawyers in business, entertainment, labor, and medical related cases to present trial evidence that is visually engaging and presented in a dynamic, clear, and cohesive manner. Mr. Kramer is the founder and president of Executive Presentations located in Los Angeles, California.
Randi McGinn represents both seriously injured people and those who have suffered unfair criminal accusations. She is a member of AAJ’s Board of Governors and is past president of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. Ms. McGinn is an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico Law School, and lectures around the country on trial skills and use of creative demonstrative exhibits. She is a senior partner with the firm McGinn, Carpenter, Montoya & Love, PA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Barry J. Nace concentrates his practice in medical negligence, drug and product liability, wrongful death, and personal injury litigation. He is a past president of AAJ, and has served as chairman of the AAJ PAC, twice as president of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. (TLA-DC), and as a director of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He was awarded Attorney of the Year by the TLA-DC, has been a finalist several times for Attorney of the Year by the Public Justice, was chosen as one of the Best Lawyers in America for the past 10 years, and was named in Who’s Who in American Law. He is certified as a trial attorney by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Kathleen Flynn Peterson, course advisor, is a Civil Trial Specialist certified by the Civil Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She limits her practice to representing individuals and families who have experienced injury or death as a result of medical negligence. Ms. Flynn Peterson is the immediate past president of AAJ, a past president of the Minnesota Association for Justice, and a member of AAJ’s NCA Board of Trustees. She is a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates, serving as president of Minnesota’s ABOTA chapter in 2005. She has been repeatedly named in Best Lawyers in America and Law & Leading Attorneys and was named one of the 25 Women Industry Leaders by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, 2006. Ms. Flynn Peterson is a partner with the national law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, LLP, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
