Invited Faculty
Morgan G. Adams concentrates his practice in significant personal injury law cases involving motor vehicles, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. Mr. Adams has published and lectured widely on the subject of personal injury and tractor-trailer litigation. He has served as chair of the Tennessee Trucking Litigation Seminars since 2003. He is the secretary of AAJ’s Interstate Trucking Litigation Group and a life member of the Tennessee Association for Justice as well a member of its Board of Governors. He is also licensed in Georgia. Mr. Adams retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. The Law Offices of Morgan Adams is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Robert L. Collins is a sole practitioner with over 30 years of trial experience who handles selected cases with emphasis on public interest and consumer litigation; mass disaster; hurricane and storm damage litigation; refinery and other explosions; pharmaceutical fraud; transportation disaster- plane, truck, bus & automobile litigation. He is a member of the AAJ’s Interstate Trucking Litigation Group and Treasurer of the Toxic Mold Litigation Group. Mr. Collins is a member of the State Bar of Texas Standing Committee on Court Rules, and currently the city attorney of Port Isabel, Texas. The Law Office of Robert L. Collins has offices in Houston and South Padre Island, Texas.
Kenneth L. Shigley has 30 years experience in trial and litigation work concentrating primarily on trucking and product safety cases. Mr. Shigley is a Certified Civil Trial Advocate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has completed over 100 jury trials. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, a sustaining member of AAJ, and is an Advocate of the National College of Advocacy. The Shigley Law Firm, L.L.C., is in Atlanta, Georgia.
Richard P. Traulsen concentrates his practice in commercial trucking collisions, medical malpractice, dangerous road design, and other catastrophic injury cases. Mr. Traulsen is a former chair of the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, and is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education programs. He is also a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and is a Judge Pro Tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Mr. Traulsen is the managing attorney with the firm Begam, Lewis & Marks in Phoenix, Arizona.
