Motor Carriers Operating with Federal Safety Violations
As of April 2009, there were 28,274 trucking companies, representing more than 200,000 trucks, operating on U.S. roads with safety violations.
KEY:
The "C" stands for Conditional, defined as: Records indicate the carrier was out of compliance with one or more safety requirements.
The "U" stands for Unsatisfactory, defined as: Records indicate evidence of substantial noncompliance with safety requirements
