Michael G. Daly
Michael G. Daly represents individuals throughout the country in class action and mass tort claims involving consumer fraud, environmental harm, defective medical devices, and harmful pharmaceuticals. Currently, Mr. Daly serves on the Law & Briefing, Science, Discovery, and Generic committees in the Zofran birth injury MDL for which Pogust Braslow & Millrood serves as co-lead counsel. In addition to being counsel for bellwether cases in the Testosterone Replacement Therapy and GranuFlo dialysate MDLs, Mr. Daly continues to serve as trial counsel in the multiple vaginal mesh coordinated actions throughout the country. In the vaginal mesh cases that share similar factual and legal scenarios to hernia mesh, Mr. Daly has engaged in dozens of case-specific and expert depositions, as well as responded to extensive Daubert and dispositive briefing. Mr. Daly is a co-applicant to lead AAJ’s Hernia Mesh Litigation Group and generously donates to AAJ PAC. Adam M. Evans
Adam M. Evans is his firm’s lead attorney in the C-Qur hernia mesh litigation and is on the executive committee for the C-Qur MDL in New Hampshire. He is currently traveling through the United States and Canada to consult with surgeons, materials experts, infections disease experts, regulatory experts, and others in relation to hernia mesh. Mr. Evans serves on the Volunteer Attorney Project, a program that provides pro bono legal services to Kansas City’s elderly and indigent citizens. He received the Rutgers University School of Law – Camden Dean’s Academic Excellence Award, has been listed as a Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2014, and was listed as at “Top 40 under 40” attorney by The National Trial Lawyers. Mr. Evans is a member of the American Association of Justice’s (AAJ) Hernia Mesh Litigation Group, Transvaginal Mesh Litigation Group, Public Affairs Committee, and generously donates to AAJ PAC. Kathleen A. Farinas
Kathleen A. Farinas is a partner at George & Farinas, LLP, where the focus of her practice is injuries caused by toxic exposures and dangerous medical devices and pharmaceuticals. She has served on counsel in numerous catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical, toxic tort, and asbestos personal injury cases. She has been listed in the National Trial Lawyers Association’s “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” every year since 2014 and was Ms. Farinas is a sustaining member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the Indiana Women’s Trial Lawyer Caucus. She is co-chair of the American Association of Justice’s (AAJ) Hernia Mesh Litigation Group, and a member of AAJ’s Product Liability Section, Asbestos Litigation Group, and Section on Toxic, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Torts. Jonathan D. Orent
Jonathan D. Orent litigates for people alleging harm by defective medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs, including all aspects of discovery and expert development. He represents women suffering from painful side effects associated with pelvic mesh/sling products in thousands of filed cases against multiple corporations, as well as hernia patients harmed by mesh repairs. Mr. Orent is a member of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) Litigation Funding Litigation Group and Litigation Group Leaders Council and serves as a co-chair of the Hernia Mesh Litigation Group. Motley Rice, LLC is an AAJ Leaders Forum member and Mr. Orent works out of their Providence, Rhode Island office.
