AAJ Announces Elise R. Sanguinetti as New President of Plaintiff Trial Bar

July 11,2018

Washington, DC — The American Association for Justice (AAJ) is pleased to announce that California attorney Elise R. Sanguinetti was sworn in as the new President of AAJ at the 2018 Annual Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Sanguinetti is a founding partner at Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Torrijos LLP in Oakland, California, and has more than two decades of experience helping individuals and families in their fight for civil justice after they have been seriously injured or killed.

“It is an honor to have been chosen as the next president of AAJ,” said Sanguinetti. “This organization serves as such an important resource for its members, and I hope to strengthen AAJ’s education and advocacy, so together we can further AAJ’s important mission to protect the constitutional rights of consumers, patients, and workers.”

Sanguinetti has been a dedicated member of AAJ chairing the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees, Membership Task Force, National Finance Council, Membership Oversight Committee, and New Lawyers Division. She has also served as vice chair of the Public Affairs Committee and as a member of the AAJ PAC Board of Trustees, the Exchange Advisory Committee, and the Executive, Budget, and Justice List Committees. Additionally, Sanguinetti served as president of the Consumer Attorneys of California.

The AAJ officers joining Sanguinetti include President-Elect Bruce H. Stern of Stark & Stark in Princeton, New Jersey; Vice President Tobi L. Millrood of Pogust, Braslow & Millrood in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; Secretary Navan Ward of Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles in Atlanta, Georgia; Treasurer Tad Thomas of Thomas Law Offices in Louisville, Kentucky; and Parliamentarian Sean C.
