AAJ Statement on President Trump Insulting America’s Justice System

Washington, DC—The following is a statement from American Association for Justice (AAJ) President Kathleen Nastri responding to President Donald Trump’s recent insults directed at the American justice system in the wake of the terror attack in New York City:
“The American justice system and our Constitution are models for the rest of the world. We fully support the men and women who serve within that system, as law enforcement officers, judges, attorneys and civil servants. They work every day on behalf of the American people to ensure that our Constitutional rights are protected. We condemn the President’s comments, made as the rest of the nation mourns the victims in New York.
“We commend those who work to uphold our laws and keep our nation strong and secure.”
