The plaintiff alleged that the truck driver was speeding and failed to keep a proper lookout. Suit against the trucking company alleged that it was negligent and grossly negligent for failing to properly train and supervise the driver and for retaining him and entrusting a vehicle to him when it knew he was not competent to operate it safely.
