Trial Lawyers Care
Trial
Lawyers Care, the largest pro bono project in the history
of American jurisprudence, enabled hundreds upon hundreds
of families to better cope with the aftermath of that horrific
day.
Today our resolve is tested once again by the worst
natural disaster to hit our shores and all Americans
are coming together to help the victims of Hurricanes Katrina
and Rita. AAJ is using Trial Lawyers Care (TLC) as a vehicle
for collecting and distributing aid to relief organizations
in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
"Our goal is to get the most help where it's most needed
most quickly," said TLC President Richard Bieder. "Since
we started the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, trial lawyers
have raised over $342,000, 100% of which is going directly
to local relief efforts in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama."
