How are cases selected?
AAJ’s in-house legal staff works with the AAJ Amicus Curiae Committee members to determine which cases participate. We consider access to justice and right to jury trial issues that are of importance to our members’ clients and to their practices. AAJ also frequently authors and files amicus curiae briefs jointly with state TLAs and other national groups.
