New Lawyers Division

The purpose of the New Lawyers Division is to stimulate the interest and commitment of New Lawyers in the objectives of the American Association for Justice. This group helps ensure that all sectors of AAJ give appropriate attention to the needs of New Lawyers. The Division works with AAJ to encourage continuing education, scholarships, and increased proficiency by developing and advancing affordable programs, materials, services, and products specifically designated to assist and benefit New Lawyers. The Division provides a networking system with experienced attorneys and helps ensure that the next generation of AAJ members and their leadership are dedicated and reflect the diversity of American society.

What is the NLD?

AAJ's New Lawyers Division (NLD) is eager to assist members in the early stages of their professional careers, as well as to provide new lawyers with every resource they need to achieve success. Attorney members who have been admitted to the practice of law for less than 10 years are automatically enrolled in the New Lawyers Division once they become an AAJ member.
