The Minority Caucus was established by the AAJ Board of Governors in 1992.
The Minority Caucus is responsible for recommending and developing educational programs, networking opportunities and other programs of interest to minority members of AAJ. Programs are designed to stimulate minority membership in AAJ and encourage participation by minorities in the activities and leadership of the Association.
The Minority Caucus is led by an Executive Committee, elected each year by the minority membership of AAJ during the Minority Caucus Business Meeting at AAJ's Annual Convention.
Minority Caucus State Delegates represent the Minority Caucus to the AAJ Board of Governors. State Delegates are elected by AAJ members from each jurisdiction before the commencement of the AAJ Annual Convention each year.
