Elizabeth Todd Beall concentrates her practice in nursing home negligence cases, and represents the residents and families of those abused or neglected in nursing homes and rest homes. Ms. Beall is a former chairman of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice’s Nursing Home Negligence section, and is active in organizing and teaching seminars in nursing home litigation throughout the state. She is a member of the Wake County and North Carolina State Bars, as well as the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and AAJ. The Beall Law Offices are located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
David R. Cohen concentrates his practice in nursing home negligence and abuse claims, elder abuse, and assisted living facility litigation. Mr. Cohen is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. He is a former chair of AAJ’s Nursing Home Litigation Group and a former member of the Minority Concerns Committee of Mercer County Vicinage. Mr. Cohen served as faculty for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) on nursing home negligence from 2002 through 2007 and lectured on this topic at the College of New Jersey for the National Business Institute (NBI). He has also lectured on attorney review of medical records for NBI, AAJ, the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), and ICLE. Mark R. Kosieradzki concentrates his practice in products liability, wrongful death, spinal cord injury, amputation, nursing home abuse, and burn litigation. Mr. Kosieradzki is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota Bar Association as a Civil Trial Specialist, was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates, and is a past president of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on AAJ’s Board of Governors, is past chair of AAJ’s Nursing Homes Litigation Group, is a member of AAJ’s National College of Advocacy (NCA) Board of Trustees and Leaders Forum, and is a Diplomate of AAJ’s NCA. Lance D. Lourie concentrates his practice in medical negligence, personal injury, nursing home negligence and abuse, and general liability cases. Mr. Lourie was a partner with a defense firm where he practiced from 1985 to 1997. During that time, his primary area of practice was the defense of medical negligence and general liability cases, including obstetrical and gynecological cases and state liability issues. He has lectured at continuing legal education seminars on trial tactics, medical negligence cases, general liability cases, and other matters related to personal injury litigation. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA). He has served as a member of the GTLA executive committee and is the current vice president at large of GTLA.
