AAJ Women Trial Lawyer’s Caucus Lobby Days
May 25-26 in Washington, D.C.
Join women from across the country meeting with Senators and House Representatives about issues important to your clients and your practice.
Your Clients’ Voices Must Be Heard! The civil justice system is under attack by powerful (and well-funded) corporate interests. It is up to each of us to communicate to our Congressional representatives the importance of access to justice and the fallacy of “tort reform.”
No Lobbying Experience Necessary! AAJ will provide a comprehensive briefing on legislative issues on May 25th, followed by a reception with key legislators. The next morning, we hit the Hill in teams to lobby U.S. Senators and Representatives. You’ll leave Washington with a real sense of accomplishment, knowing you have helped make a difference for your clients and the future of your practice.
Women Trial Lawyers Caucus Lobby Days is an incredibly effective way to communicate with elected officials and a terrific opportunity to put a fresh face on the civil justice system, while allowing you the opportunity to network with other women trial lawyers from across the country.
• Be in Washington D.C. by 1:00 p.m. on May 25th for briefing on the issues and plan on staying until 4:00 p.m. on May 26th.
• Book your hotel: AAJ has secured a special rate at the Hyatt Regency, steps from the Hill.
