Distracted driving

January 2022

Charles Hunsinger, 15, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped in traffic. He suffered heart and lung injuries after Roe rear-ended the vehicle at highway speed. Additionally, Hunsinger is now permanently disfigured.

Hunsinger, through a representative, filed suit, alleging that Roe had been distracted while driving.

The parties settled for $1.1 million.
