The power of networking

AAJ Education is more than classroom learning. Programs offer the opportunity to build a national network of like-minded trial lawyers. The majority of AAJ Education's programs are open only to AAJ members and provide a secure, confidential environment.

What we offer:

AAJ Education offers a mix of seminars, trial advocacy skills colleges, focus group programs, and webinars.

Seminars

Seminars are in-person programs that address specific practice areas and new developments in litigation.  Faculty include trial lawyers and experts in specific subject matters. AAJ Education offers seminars on a wide range of topics, including medical negligence, nursing home litigation, traumatic brain injury, trucking, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and much more.

Trial Advocacy Colleges

Colleges are in-person programs that combine interactive seminars, demonstrations, and small-group workshops where participants learn trial advocacy skills and techniques from experienced trial lawyers, consultants, and communications experts. Colleges are designed to provide hands-on training in critical advocacy skills, including depositions, damages, using focus groups, communication skills, voir dire, and more.

Focus Group Programs

AAJ currently offers two focus group programs, Case Workshop and Case Plus. Attendees conduct focus groups of carefully screened participants under the guidance of faculty and consultants who provide feedback, analyze focus group results, craft trial strategies, and share focus group strategies.

Distance Learning

AAJ Education takes the CLE to you. We offer webinars on emerging topics in litigation, and our seminars and convention programs are recorded for on-demand CLE and viewing to better fit your schedule as well as share with your office.

Conventions

AAJ holds two conventions annually (summer and winter), featuring trial advocacy skills education and programs planned by AAJ Sections, Litigation Groups, and Committees in conjunction with AAJ Education. Click here to learn more about AAJ Conventions.
