AAJ Voter Protection Action Committee
Are you a lawyer, paralegal, or law student? Have you signed up as an election protection volunteer through AAJ’s Voter Protection Action Committee (VPAC)?
If not, the time is now! Do your part and sign up now!
For those living in or willing to travel to Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, sign up here.
For any other states, including those in Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, and New Hampshire sign up here.
In 2012, over 1,000 American Association for Justice members across the country volunteered with AAJ to protect the right to vote. This year, we are counting on you and your colleagues to help through AAJ’s Voter Protection Action Committee (VPAC) and increase the number of volunteers.
Hundreds of legal professionals and law students across the country are still needed to help on November 4, 2014. You are uniquely qualified to protect the rights of voters who might otherwise have their right to vote denied. Please protect that right.
This is a nonpartisan effort aimed at ensuring that all votes are cast and counted.
AAJ is coordinating with national organizations to identify all lawyers who will be able to work at polling places across the country, assist at call centers, or be part of an election protection legal team to challenge some of the most harmful actions in court on Election Day.
As Election Day gets closer you will be contacted and given information regarding online training. As soon as you have received the appropriate training, you will be given an assignment for Election Day. It’s that simple. We need you!
