Ozempic and other GLP-1 RA weight loss drugs have seen a surge of popularity in recent years. Plaintiff firms have challenged GLP-1 RA manufacturers for the dangers these drugs—through overpromotion and failure to warn of serious side effects—present to their clients and the public at large.

Group History

The Ozempic/ GLP-1 RA was formed at AAJ’s 2024 Winter Convention. The group provides members with available intake criteria, draft complaints, information on discovery, and updates on the developments and proceedings in the MDL using the group’s list server, document library, and meetings and educational programs. This Litigation Group meets at AAJ Annual and Winter Conventions, or as needed by group members.

Membership:
