The Stöckert 3T Heater-Cooler is a device used during major heart, lung, and liver surgeries. The device has been linked to serious nontuberculous mycobacteria infections, resulting in the illness and deaths of many patients. Additionally, the device’s defective design allows for the breeding and spread of bacteria in the surgical field.
The Stöckert 3T Heater-Cooler Device Litigation Group is a resource for lawyers pursuing cases against the manufacturers of these devices. The Litigation Group has a secure, members-only list server and document library where members can share pertinent information and documents regarding the litigation. This Litigation Group holds regular meetings that are closed to members only to discuss current cases and important updates.
