AAJ Announces Bruce Stern as New President of Plaintiff Trial Bar
July 31,2019Washington, DC — The American Association for Justice (AAJ®) is pleased to announce that New Jersey trial lawyer Bruce Stern was sworn in as the new President of AAJ at the 2019 Annual Convention in San Diego.
Stern is a shareholder and member of the Personal Injury Group of Stark & Stark in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Stern specializes in trucking and construction litigation, brain and spinal cord injuries and wrongful death. He has represented injured people seeking justice for over 35 years.
“It is an honor to lead AAJ at a time when civil justice and protecting the 7th Amendment right to trial by jury is so important,” said Stern. “I will continue to advance the organization’s mission to promote a fair and effective justice system so that our attorney members can seek justice for those who have been physically and financially harmed.”
Stern has been a dedicated member of AAJ serving as a founding member and past chair of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. He has also chaired the Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Liability Section and the Audit Committee. He has also served as a member of the National Finance Council, the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees and the Publications Committee. Additionally, Stern served as president of the New Jersey Association for Justice.
