Defective restaurant food
September 10, 2024Mikayla Jackson, a minor, was fed a chicken pot pie her mother had purchased from a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. The pot pie contained a bone fragment, which injured Jackson.
Jackson’s mother, on her behalf, sued the restaurant’s owners and managers, alleging the defendants negligently allowed a defective food product to be sold at their restaurant.
The parties settled for an undisclosed amount.
