Sex trafficking at hotel
August 22, 2024The Does, ages 16 and 17, were allegedly forced into prostitution at North American Motor Inns in Philadelphia. One was allegedly held at the hotel for up to two weeks, and the other was taken to the hotel approximately 30 times. Each allegedly was held under threat of physical harm.
The Does sued North American Motor Inns, which leased the property, alleging negligence.
An arbitrator awarded $24.5 million.
