Robert L. Collins concentrates his national trial practice on catastrophic truck and bus crash, products liability, and negligence litigation. Mr. Collins is Board-Certified in truck accident litigation by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, among the original 50 attorneys in the United States to receive that certification. He is the author of the Litigating Bus Crash Cases chapter of West Publishing’s Litigating Truck Accident Cases treatise. Mr. Collins is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas District 12 Grievance Committee and a former member of the State Bar of Texas Court Rules Committee. Mr. Collins served as co-class counsel for the first mass tort wrongful death litigation in the United States, In Re Federal Skywalk Litigation. He is a member of AAJ’s President’s Club and is a past chair of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle, Highways, and Premises Liability Section and Trucking Litigation Group, and he currently serves on the Executive Board of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. Mr. Collins was the co-founding chair of AAJ’s Bus Litigation Group. Mr. Collins is currently a member of the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees and serves as Secretary and member of Board of Trustees of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. He has received Diplomate status in the NCA Masters of Trial Law professional recognition program. The firm of Robert L.
