About the Group
Numerous financially viable defendants are now attempting to use the bankruptcy code improperly to end tort litigation and avoid liability. The Tort Bankruptcy Litigation Group educates AAJ members about the legal issues relating to the bankruptcy filings in all tort litigations and keeps members advised of important bankruptcy court deadlines.
Group History
The Tort Bankruptcy Litigation Group Litigation Group was formed at the 2022 Annual Convention. Members will have access to a Document Library and list server. The Group meets at AAJ Annual and Winter conventions and plans to host programs and meetings throughout the year.
Dues: $150 per member annually
