Lisa Blue, a founder of the Dallas firm Baron and Blue, is a past president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). She is a past president of AAJ’s National Officers and Executive Committee and AAJ PAC Boards of Trustees. She is a member of the Executive, Membership Oversight, Public Affairs, and Public Education committees, and chaired the Public Affairs and Affinities committees and the National Finance Council. She is also a Diplomate of the National College of Advocacy and a generous donor to AAJ PAC. Ms. Blue has been named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America and one of the Top 50 Women Litigators in the U.S. by the National Law Journal as well as Top 50: Women Texas Super Lawyer, Top 100: Dallas/Fort Worth Super Lawyer, and Top 100: Texas Super Lawyer. Ms. Blue has also written books: AAJ Press (formerly ATLA Press) Blue’s Guide to Jury Selection, coauthored with Robert Hirschhorn in 2004 and Dr. Blues’ Guide to Making Relationships Work: 50 Quick Tips that Will Save Your Relationship, coauthored with brother Dr. Rick Blue in 2006. T. Thomas Metier is the senior managing member of Metier Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Metier is a director of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, a faculty member of the Trial Lawyers College, a member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, and the Larimer County Bar Association. He is a member of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) President’s Club; Railroad Section, Sole Practioner and Small Firms Section; Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Liability Section; Bad Faith Insurance Litigation Group; Birth Trauma Litigation Group; Nursing Homes Litigation Group; National Finance Council; and National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees.
