Climate Change

Description:

The scientific evidence is overwhelming—global warming is happening and human activity is primarily to blame. One hundred companies, referred to as the Carbon Majors, are responsible for more than 70 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions since 1988. These companies waged a multi-decade campaign of deception and misinformation to prevent clean energy bills and other measures to address the climate crisis. Now with sea levels rising and severe weather worsening, plaintiff attorneys are filing lawsuits to hold these Carbon Majors accountable.
