2025 David S. Shrager President’s Award
Eric H. Gibbs

Eric Gibbs is brilliant, humble, and determined. An AAJ member for nearly 25 years, he started working at a law firm in the mail room before going to law school and has not forgotten his roots.

He is passionate about educating law students and younger lawyers about plaintiff trial law. To that end, his firm, Gibbs Mura, for the past two summers, has trained groups of law students to ensure they have the skills needed to succeed once they graduate.

Eric’s practice focuses on consumer protection, antitrust, whistleblower, financial fraud, and mass tort matters. He has negotiated groundbreaking settlements that have resulted in meaningful reforms to business practices and favorably impacted plaintiffs’ legal rights.

About the Award

Recognizes an AAJ member who has demonstrated former AAJ President David Shrager's passion for the law and trial bar, and who has made an outstanding contribution to civil justice and the work of AAJ.
