New Lawyers Division
The New Lawyers Division (NLD) serves the needs of AAJ members who are under the age of 35 or have been practicing for no more than 10 years. Through networking, leadership opportunities, continuing education, and special events, NLD members find the camaraderie and support they need to excel in representing individuals and serving their communities.
By providing valuable feedback on the needs of new lawyers, through its special events to protect the civil justice system, by recognizing the accomplishments of its members, and its enthusiasm for supporting each other, the NLD plays a vital role within the Association.
But the easiest way to describe who we are is to say that we are just like you: hardworking, passionately devoted to our clients and the right of trial by jury, and looking for the support to grow and excel in our practices.
Why Participate in the New Lawyers Division?
AAJ's New Lawyer Division (NLD) is eager to assist members in the early stages of their professional careers, as well as provide new lawyers with every resource they need to achieve success. Attorney members who have been admitted to the practice of law for less than 10 years are automatically enrolled in the New Lawyers Division once they become an AAJ member.
