Washington, DC — The following is a statement from American Association for Justice President Lori Andrus:

"We must protect the independence of the judiciary. Threats made to judges and punishments doled out to those whose beliefs don’t align with those in power endanger the Rule of Law. We all must stand against any attacks on the legal profession and our justice system."
