AAJ Statement on Judicial Independence

Washington, DC - The following is a statement from American Association for Justice President Julie Braman Kane:
"The United States Constitution guarantees that Americans can turn to the civil justice system to ensure their rights under the law are protected and enforced, and the American Association for Justice condemns any threat to a fair and impartial judiciary. Political attacks on individual judges jeopardize the fair administration of justice and threaten to undermine the Rule of Law.”
