Wrongful death of retired plasterer from mesothelioma
June/July 2021An 84-year-old retired plasterer who worked throughout the East San Francisco Bay Area, including at a naval hospital and at the University of Calif., Berkeley, developed mesothelioma. A lawsuit against multiple defendants alleged wrongful death. The parties disputed the cause of death.
The case settled during pretrial motions for $1.5 million.
