Marine vessel component defect
August 8, 2023An alleged component defect on a marine vessel led to a catastrophic safety system failure, resulting in a crash that killed or seriously injured several people.
During subsequent litigation, the plaintiffs, in cooperation with a series of marine engineers and experts, were able to identify, isolate, and demonstrate that the component defect embedded within a larger system was the root cause of the catastrophic failure.
The parties settled confidentially.
