Jury awards damages for Roundup user’s cancer
February 6, 2024John Durnell began using Roundup weedkiller in 1996 while maintaining the grounds of his neighborhood. Several years later, he was diagnosed as having non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Durnell sued Monsanto Co., alleging that its herbicide contained unsafe and carcinogenic chemicals, including glyphosate, arsenic, formaldehyde, and 1,4 Dioxane.
The jury awarded $1.25 million.
