Failure to monitor patient on ventilator
October 18, 2022Doe, 12, suffered from severe developmental disabilities and was on a ventilator. While being supervised by a nurse, Doe died from cardiac arrest.
Suit against the nurse’s employer alleged the nurse failed to supervise Doe and timely contact emergency services.
The parties settled for $985,000.
