Failure to perform timely cesarean section
September/October 2022Doe died 16 days after his birth at a central Illinois hospital. He is survived by his parents and four siblings.
Doe’s estate sued the hospital, alleging its failure to perform a timely cesarean section led to the baby’s death.
The parties settled for $750,000. Suit against other undisclosed defendants is pending.
