Negligent airway management

Doe, 42, underwent elective surgery at a hospital to treat various nasal and upper airway issues. During the operation, there were problems with Doe’s endotracheal tube allegedly due to excessive manipulation. Doe suffered fatal injuries and is survived by her husband and adult son.

Suit against an ENT, hospital, and physicians group alleged negligent airway management.

The parties settled for $2 million.
