Negligent treatment of finger laceration
August 29, 2023Doe suffered a finger laceration while performing yard work. She received treatment from a health care provider and later experienced ischemia, nerve damage, and chronic pain. Her medical expenses totaled over $44,700.
Doe sued an undisclosed defendant alleged improper treatment of the laceration. The defendant contested the plaintiff’s future expenses.
The parties settled for $934,500 before trial.
