Liability for attempted robbery at ATM
October 2020Doe was fatally shot during an attempted armed robbery as he was leaving an ATM. Doe is survived by his elderly mother, with whom he lived.
Doe’s mother filed suit, alleging negligent security.
The parties settled for $1.5 million.
