January 27, 2022As Doe was driving on a Chicago-area expressway, she collided with a commercial semi-truck that was stopped on the roadway. The collision left Doe with spinal cord injuries, necessitating significant medical treatment and a long-term hospitalization.
Suit alleged that the semi-truck had been stopped unsafely on the expressway.
The parties settled for $1.1 million.
