Trial Lawyers Care
After the attacks on September 11, 2001, trial lawyers pledged to do what they do best – give a voice to the voiceless. They promised to provide free legal services to any family wishing to seek help through a newly created federal fund. Trial Lawyers Care was the non-profit organization that made those free legal services possible.
From its inception, more than 1,100 Trial Lawyers Care lawyers have volunteered from every state, six Canadian Provinces, as well as England, Mexico, and Australia. They have also:
- Counseled 4,000 families, helping those from 35 states and 11 countries.
- Provided pro bono representation to more than 1,700 families who applied for federal financial help.
- Dedicated a combined total of more than 100 years of service on these cases.
