STAC Call for Judges

AAJ needs your help in judging the annual Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC).  The competition is an exceptional opportunity for law school students to develop and practice their trial advocacy skills.  This annual competition relies on attorneys like you to donate time and expertise toward fostering the brightest young legal minds.

Fourteen regional competitions will be held March 9 - 12 in Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Louisville, KY; Miami, FL; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC; Santa Monica, CA; Seattle, WA; Tuscalossa, AL; and Washington, DC.  The top team from each region will advance to the national finals March 30 - April 2, 2017 in Cleveland, OH.  Teams will be judged on their skills in case preparation, opening statements, use of facts, examination of lay and expert witnesses, and closing arguments.
